To share our expertise in testing and certification with the import and export product industry, STC delivered a seminar on “Cross-border E-commerce Market Trends and Development Trends @ Alibaba.com Seminar” organized by Alibaba Group (Hong Kong) on 10 January 2020. Approximately 80 participants, who were mainly representatives from different industries and related guests, joined that day. During the seminar, our Senior Manager, Mr. Raymond Kung, shared his professional knowledge and experience related to the regulatory requirements for the Hong Kong Safety Mark and related testing services, as well as answered questions related to the professional inspection services.

“The Hong Kong Safety Mark (HKSM) Scheme is an independent product certification program applicable to manufacturers, retailers, importers, and distributors for a wide range of different products, including Electrical & Electronics products, Bedding Materials, Furniture, Consumer Products, Toys & Children’s products, Personal Protective Equipment etc. The Scheme follows the guidance of the Electrical Products (Safety) Regulation (EPSR) under the Electrical & Mechanical Services Department (EMSD). HKCC is a Recognized Certification Bodies (RCB) by the EMSD for electrical products.” Raymond said.
